This drawing began as a pencil rubbing of a walkway in the Dominican Republic. I noticed how the architectural rock held histories of its natural environment within its coral like textures. Layers of stories and time that I walked among every day. On top of the texture rubbing, I drew memories of a coral ecosystem that the textures reminded me of as I walked among this historical record.
