Landscapes

These works reflect living, breathing, and moving combinations of systems and entities within landscapes. While creating, I rearranged and overlapped the contrasts in textures, patterns, and colors that captivated my attention. Rather than attempt to copy what I observed, I sought to capture the sensory experience and feeling of presence. I was captivated by the constant motion, changing light, the rearranging of shadows, contrasts, and patterns; the very idea that, before my eyes, the landscape was growing, layering, and interacting.
